1. It is a place to escape to, and you can live so many lives while there.

2. Books are the best, characters like Peves who are missing from the movies really make the books something special.

3. My favorite part is Snape's flashback to Lily I feel it just explained to much of the story

4. My favorite character is Bellatrix Lestrange, she is my fav because she is a loyal fallower.

1. What most interests you in Harry Potter and why?

The way the story moves. Not too fast and not too slow because I didn't want it to end quickly.

2. Did you like the books or the movies best?

Both. However, I liked the books better because of the extra descriptions of events

3. What was your favourite part in the book or movies?

When Hermione punched Malfoy because he called her a mudblood. I loved that side of Hermione, because it was the first time it was shown.

4. Who was your favourite character in Harry Potter?

 Hermione

5 How would you describe your feelings about Harry Potter? (E.g. crazy)

Super addicted. It is naturally impossible for me to start conversations that don't have to do with Harry Potter.

6. Do you go to any Harry Potter conventions or visit/post on Harry Potter forums?

No. I have never gone to one. The town I live in lacks a big amount of fans.

7. Do you feel more comfortable being with other Harry Potter fans? If so how?

Yes, because they are easier to talk to and I don't have to pretend to hate Harry Potter around them. They know how I feel.

8. Do you ever feel left out in the real world, If so how?

Yes, because Harry Potter is my life. It is hard to be in the real world without thinking about Harry Potter.

9. How do others react to your unusual level of interest in Harry Potter?

They think its weird that I know almost everything that happened. They believe that I need a life. Mostly, what scares them is my large amount of harry potter themed items in my room.

10. Has anybody ever teased, bullied or discriminated against you because of your interest in Harry Potter? Definitely. My older brother was the first to make fun of it. I just ignored him because I was used to that

1. What most interests you in Harry Potter and why?

The way it's written is just spectacular. The characters and the storyline are just breath taken. I'm a very advanced reader and I've read many books. This is one of the only ones where I've read and not been able to put down the book because the action and plot line were just too amazing.

2. Did you like the books or the movies best?

Like most people will probably answer, the books. Some parts from the books don't happen in the movies, so there's more to see.

3. What was your favorite part in the book or movies?

I LOVE the first one. It's where Harry discovers the magical world. The way it's presented for it to amaze both readers and protagonist are just awesome in my opinion. So, when Harry first goes to Diagon Alley and Hogwarts is my personal fave.

4. Who was your favorite character in Harry Potter?

I like the bad boys, so for me it's Draco Malefoy.

5 How would you describe your feelings about Harry Potter? (E.g. crazy)

I'm addicted. Everything related to Harry Potter just makes me get really hyper and bubbly. I love it to death and when other people around me talk to me about it, it puts me in the greatest mood.

6. Do you go to any Harry Potter conventions or visit/post on Harry Potter forums?

I sadly live in a far away town from all the big cities, so no I don't attend conventions. I go on the forums and Harry Potter sites pretty much everyday.

7. Do you feel more comfortable being with other Harry Potter fans? If so how?

Yes because with them, I can discuss what interests me the most. They accept me and we always have a topic of conversation. Around them, I don't feel as judged.

8. Do you ever feel left out in the real world, If so how?

Well, I'm pretty confident about myself and my hobbies so I'd say no. Yes I do wish to be in the magical wizarding HP world, but I'm not afraid of what muggles think about me. I proudly wear my house colors to school. I've had many people comment but it's not usually something bad. So, I'd say I'm pretty good.

9. How do others react to your unusual level of interest in Harry Potter?

They don't really care. I've got many other unusual hobbies like cosplaying and being an otaku. I guess my friends and family have just learned to shrug me off. Also, in high school, people don't really pay attention to you if you aren't in the top "popular group". So you can just keep on living your happy marry life without anyone bothering you.

10. Has anybody ever teased, bullied or discriminated against you because of your interest in Harry Potter?

I had been bullied before because of several other interests. I've learned to fight it off by myself and take a stand. It works wonders. People have never judged me for liking Harry Potter since many other of the people in most of my classes have actually seen it before.

Age:    Ok if I don't say?                Gender: Female

1. What most interests you in Harry Potter and why?

It has a quality that it takes a lot for an author to incorporate: no matter how hard we try, it really is nearly impossible to imagine that the Wizarding World isn't real, no matter what people say. The ideas are too complex to be made up; the way it fits so perfectly with the Muggle world is just scary. No matter how many backstage videos or JKR interviews I see, there's still that little part of me that refuses to believe that it doesn't exist. The owl with my Hogwarts letter just got lost, that's all ;D

2. Did you like the books or the movies best?

Books for sure, although I think they did an excellent job translating it to the big screen.

3. What was your favourite part in the book or movies?

Oh gosh... I'm gonna have to say the end of OotP, when they go to the Department of Mysteries.

4. Who was your favourite character in Harry Potter?

Luna.

5 How would you describe your feelings about Harry Potter? (E.g. crazy)

As cliché as it may sound, it is somewhere to belong. Jo told me that Hogwarts will always be there to welcome me home, and I know it's true.

6. Do you go to any Harry Potter conventions or visit/post on Harry Potter forums?

I have never been to a convention (I really really want to though!), but I visit many forums on a regular basis.

7. Do you feel more comfortable being with other Harry Potter fans? If so how?

I do like being with other fans, because I know I can say "After all this time," and they will say, "Always." I know I can relate anything to Dobby, and they'll get it.

But I don't feel any less happy being around people who are not fans. Most of my friends aren't really into HP, but I still have fun with them, because they are real friends who don't mind if I quote Dumbledore!

8. Do you ever feel left out in the real world, If so how?

 Haha, kinda personal!

Yes, although it's nothing to do with HP. A lot of the time, I choose to be left out. At other times, it's because of things like my hair colour (because being 'ginger' is a perfectly good reason for people to laugh at you), and because I can't swim or stay in the sun or wear make-up because of my skin condition. But I don't mind!

9. How do others react to your unusual level of interest in Harry Potter?

The ones who know about it either join in my Dumbledore quoting; shrug and accept me anyways; or insist that Harry potter is stupid and hate me. If somebody is going to hate me because I like a story, then they clearly aren't worth trying to befriend or talk to.

10. Has anybody ever teased, bullied or discriminated against you because of your interest in Harry Potter?

To be honest, its not smoething that many people know about. I don't deny that I like HP, far from it, but there's not really any reason people would know. I get the occasional snide comment if people hear me talking about it, but so what? Live and let live, right?

1.the world that JKR has created, the characters because they are so complete and the perfectly planned plot.

2. I like the books more than the films, it must be said though that it was the films which I used watch as a child that made me a fan of the series.

3. This is a very difficult question, I usually enjoy the action packed moment and the times when something important to the plot is explained to the reader.

4.Yet another difficult question to answer, from the trio I like harry and hermione, not so much ron, otherwise I like dumbledore, lee jordan, mcgonagall and many others, I simply cannot pick a favourite.

5. I love harry potter, it makes me feel happy and i am addicted to this series.

6. I live in Italy so no conventions for me! I visit pottermore and mugglenet often and often comment on other posts.

7. I do feel comfortable but I don't know many.

8. I am sometimes left out, some of those times by my own choice.

9. I'm not known as a potter fan so no reaction, although there is a potter fan I know, she is treated like everyone else.

10. LOTR fans seem to think they are much better than potter fans, but other than this Harry Potter is very well liked by everyone.

1. The characters, and their evolution throughout the series. Neville is the prime example of this. He goes from an insecure, clumsy boy, to a brave, strong leader...who eventually meets Voldemort face to face. As well, I see Harry Potter as a tribute literature, incorporating so many elements from classic novels.

2. I much prefer the books. To begin with, the story started with the books and the movies themselves are merely a reflection of the popularity of the novels. More so than that, though, is the magical journey they take you on. The characters feel real to you, they are real to you. The reader laughs, cries, and yells with Harry, Ron, Hermione, and the others. The writing itself is very presentable and easy to read, drawing you in, and making you forget how to think about the length of the books. It's just a pure tale of the importance of love to human nature.

3. My favourite parts are all in the books. When the trio first become friends that Halloween night, Dumbledore and Voldemort's battle, the Battle of Hogwarts, Return to King's Cross, and finally the Epilogue: knowing that all the pain and struggle meant something.

4. Dumbledore, Neville, and Luna. Dumbledore for his wisdom and knowledge, Neville for self-growth, and Luna for being so wonderful and beautiful a person that she never needed to change one bit.

5. Humbled, inspired, entranced, content.

6. Sadly, being in Canada, I am unable to go to any Harry Potter conventions. And I mainly spend my time on MuggleSpace and MuggleNet.

7. Yes, I do. We all share a common bond provided by this magical series, and it has allowed us to find other interests that we share, or even to befriend people who are nothing like us, and yet we love them to death. Harry Potter taught us friendship, and most fans understand this, so I'm quite happy to be around them.

8. Yes, I do. Mainly because I am a shy, introverted person, and so people can pass me by, not seeing me or thinking I'm antisocial.

9. Most people are very accepting of my love for Harry Potter, and I don't associate with people who don't.

10. Thankfully no. Harry Potter has brought me nothing but good, nothing but love.
