- My real name is Kate. I was 18 when I first picked up a Harry Potter book, so I'm a bit older, I'm 27, but I'm still a huge fan. I'm a student, college sophomore finishing my degree in Theater. HUGE SIRIUS FAN. I'd rather be in character when I can. I love theater. Don't like haters or drama. Take it somewhere else. Here to have fun.
I chose an alternate Harry Potter ego a long time ago. Kestral was a ravenclaw, despite my Gryiffindor loyalty, and a distant cousin of the Black family, as so many are. Like Sirius, her mother was disowned. Kestral's aunt Dove was killed by a death eater in the first war. There is a tradition her branch of the family to rename women who's patronuses are birds with their bird names. Dove was also a secret animagus, and Kestral hopes to learn and follow in her footsteps fighting Voldemort. Kestral's mother is a witch, and her father is a muggle. That's all I remember for now. Kestral lives in Godric's Hollow. I had a complex history, if only I can find where I wrote it!

- Actually, I've only attended a few things. One live podcast, once, and the only midnight book release party I got to was the last one. I dressed up as Tonks, the character I most resemble, and helped little kids make wands. I once got accepted to work the drabble table of a conference, but I couldn't afford to go. I've been to every midnight showing in different places, and saw movies 2 and 3 the first day. Movie 1 was already out of theaters before I became a fan.
