Getting closer to the new grandbaby.  How is everyone holding up?

Didn't get the postition I wanted, but have applied for another one, just this week.

The last day of school is May 31st.  Ellen will graduate on the 30th.  She'll be attending Biola, a christian college, here in California,  She'll be living on campus.  She was able to get funding to pay for what we couldn't.  No loans! : )

Hope your M-i-L is feeling better.  My aunt is finished with her treatments and will be retesting to see how they did.  I hope we hear great results.

Thanks you for the Easter wishes.  I got home the day before so my sister-in-law gave us Easter lunch after we attended church.  Her son went on a trip with school, so he was showing us his pictures.  He did a pretty good job for a young boy of fifteen.

My Aunt is looking good and gaining weight back.  She has new reactions to the chemo with each session, but nothing that knocks her down.

Still waiting see hear if I got the new position.  They said we would hear when we got back, it's Wed. and no word.

Ok I think we have one of those theaters in the Los Angles area.  My husband would fall alseep for sure!

My daughter didn't get into UCLA.  She was accepted at Long Beach State and three Christian Colleges.  Now she needs to make her mind up so we can move on.  Money is always the issue.

Had a nice lunch out with a friend of mine today.  She gets to go to New York with her daughters school dance team.  Thats on my to do list.  It keeps getting longer. : )

Thinking about buying myself an iPad.  Not sure If I should spend the money on the three or just get the two.

Well there I am again, away for too long.

My baby just turned 18 today.  It seems funny to say baby when I only have two.  She celebrated early by going to the midnight showing of the Hunger Games. They liked it.

I have two weeks off for Easter and I will go visit my Aunt on one of them, 4/1 most likely.

It would be nice if you could settle in the class with the age group you like best. What is the Gold Class Lounge?

I went on a interview for a three and a half hour position at a intermediate school, close by.  They will let us know after the holiday if we got it or not.

My goodness what a lot to deal with.  It makes you just want to go in and hold the babies and take a nap with them. : )

Didn't get out to the movies on that Monday off, but I did get out this last Sunday.  Went with a friend to see the Artist. I liked it.

After two years I am done sorting through my mom's paper work.  I think I'll keep what I have left for about two more years and then get rid of it all.  Just don't want any legal stuff comming up and not have the records.  My husband wants me to sort out the things in the paid storage space.  I'll have to make my brother take some of her things or pass them on.  My main thing is to go through her many boxes of photos.

Tonight is my book club dinner.  I am in charge of table decor.  It will be the English country side.  We read the book, Major Pettigrews Last Stand.

Yes I agree it is always nice to have advance notice.  I'm really not a last minute person.  I do get called the same day to come in early some times.  I have made it a rule not to plan anything for the am.

The kids get to travel a lot, that nice.  I sure hope mine will be able to see the world.

My Aunt wont start her second round on Monday due to her platelettes being down.  No word yet on when they will test her again.

I have Monday off for Presidents Day. I'm hoping to get a hold of a friend and catch a movie.

Well there I go again, staying away so long.

The water leak was found under the foundation in our spare room.  The pipe had two pin hole leaks.

My son Just celebrated his 21st. birthday.  Two adults gave him beer as a gift.  I really didn't care for that.  i would not buy a twenty one year old alcohol.  Of course he thought I was being judgemental.

Sounds like your always going to be busy at work. 

My aunts first round of chemo treatment went well.  The next one starts on the 20th.

Jim and I celebrated our 29th Annv. on the 12th.  We went to a swing concert and dessert at our church, it was a lot of fun.

Poor thing, that was a crazy start.

I have not been to a baby shower in a long time.  We have been on wedding lists, but not in the inner circle for the baby showers.  Our friends have been males.

Looks like we have a water leak somewhere in the wall/foundation.  I could hear a sound as if water was on like the sprinklers.  We are going to have to have someone come out and find it.  Who knows how much that is going to cost?  No damage that we can see but it is trickling out of one of are drainage pipes that leads to the gutter out front.  We have a general idea of where it is leaking.

Glad to hear that the surgery went well for your M-i-L.  When I have time off for Easter I'm going to stay with my aunt again.  She will have started her chemo my then.

Not much going on these days with the family.

Been back for a while and just been lazy about getting on line.

Do they know what the baby is?

My visit with my aunt was nice.  She will be having chemo treatments starting the end of Feb.  She needs to gain weight.  Her cancer is stage four.  I am not sure of the details yet.  i didn't want to drill her with a lot of questions since she is just dealing with it.  I'll talk to my other aunt and find out how much they hope the chemo will do.

I'm back to work and there are still several of days of this month and next, then we will have two weeks off for Easter.
