Cascade of stars

The year is 2236

     Earth is dying.  High levels of pollution and low natural resources has begun to make life on the surface difficult.  Soon the entire planet will be uninhabitable.  Mankind has made remarkable progress in perfecting space travel in efforts to discover distant galaxies and gain knowledge of the universe, and to find a new planet to repopulate and expand on.

     You are a cadet on the spaceship S.S. Elsweyr.  One day, your ship enters uncharted space and soon begins to experience interference.  The ship goes offline and makes a collision course for an underdeveloped planet.  You manage to escape in an emergency vessel and land safely on the planet's surface.  The ship is destroyed on impact and whether anyone else managed to escape is unknown.  You are left to your own in the dense forest of the young planet.  All you managed to escape with (aside from your clothes) is your phase gun (with limited energy), a few food items and a communicator with no signal.  

     Who, or what, lives within this strange planet is a mystery.  There is no modern technology on this planet.  Machines to not exist yet.  The planet itself is almost identical to an early Earth.  You must start over, a new life, on a new world, in a time period that ended -- on your planet -- long ago.  

This is a Man VS Supernatural RP. Your characters MUST BE MORTAL, but fictional beings and the supernatural do exist (magic, monsters, etc.)

RULES:

1. No god-mode
2. No auto-killing/auto-hitting (unless other person responds accordingly)
3. You are human, don't do superhuman things
4. Be real about your situations. I very seriously doubt any normal person could somehow randomly find a machine gun or flaming sword out in the middle of nowhere
5. No sexual content/swearing beyond PG-13
6. Violence is permitted and, moreover, encouraged
7. DON'T BE BORING
8. If you are lost: find someone to rp with, or generate a RELEVANT scenario to get you into the rp
